Calling all bachelors…
The show starts with one gentleman and 25 ladies. The bachelor spends time with each woman to get to know them better. Along the way there are a lot of twists and turns. At the end of each episode there is a rose ceremony. If a woman receives one, she stays for another date. Those that do not get a rose are headed home.
I must be the only person on earth that doesn’t believe in this find true love scheme with someone you just met. Most people are going to be on their best behavior in front of the camera and that makes it phony. Good old-fashioned love comes when you least expect it and chemistry plays a huge role. This is all about beauty and cat-fighting – not my cup of tea.
However, that doesn’t stop the many viewers who get so vested and frustrated with who gets that rose. Even Ellen DeGeneres is a huge fan of The Bachelor. Check out this video of her spoof on the show.
Viewer D. Urkoski says “It’s like a soap opera, can't wait to see what’s coming up week after week! They should have Bachelors/Bachelorettes in their 40's, instead of all these Diva's!”
