'The Bachelor' episode 3 recap: Sean shocks Kacie, Tierra falls (Video)

“The Bachelor” Sean Lowe eliminated three more bachelorettes during the rose ceremony on Jan. 21 episode. Drama for the night came in the form of “Sean stealing”, Tierra doing a face plant into the stairs, and Kacie having serious foot-in-mouth syndrome.

Dates with the bachelorettes for the week included one group date and two one-on-one dates with Sean.

Sean picked Lesley M. for the first one-one-one date to the Guinness World Records on Hollywood Boulevard. Lesley finds out they are competing to beat the record for longest on-screen kiss.

After their very public make out session, they beat the world record by a few seconds. Ashlee confesses: “Kissing Sean feels so right.” They end their romantic date with a fireworks display atop the Roosevelt Hotel.

The group date followed and included 12 bachelorettes: Kacie, Robyn, Leslie H., Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda, Daniella, Jackie, Lindsey, and Tierra (before her fall in the “Bachelor” mansion).

The ladies were divided into two teams (Red versus Blue), to “win Sean’s heart”. In the end the Blue team won the beach volleyball match and they were able to spend the evening with Sean.

Kacie’s “foot-in-mouth” moment happened during the group date. She felt it would be good to tell Sean there was drama taking place between Desiree and Amanda. Sean appeared shocked to hear the story and basically asked her why she was getting involved.

The highlight of the conversation was when Sean said: “I want you to act like Kacie, not like this crazy person that I'm seeing.”

At the end of the night, Lindsay gets the group rose and is safe from elimination during the rose ceremony. She and Sean seem to have an interesting connection. She mentions her sense of being “best friends” with him. Lindsay (AKA drunk bride) is convinced this will take her far.

Somewhere in between dates, Tierra takes a nasty fall on the mansion stairs. Paramedics are called in when Sean tries to get her to talk to him. Tierra plays it off as though she’s embarrassed and refuses additional medical attention. All the while, Ashlee, who was selected for the second one-one-one date for the week is left waiting.

When Tierra’s drama ends, Ashlee and Sean take off for their one-one-one date. They head to Six Flags Magic Mountain to meet up with two mystery guests for a fun-filled date. It turns out their Six Flags date is also a charity related event.

Sean Lowe and “The Bachelor” producers teamed up with the Star Bright Children’s Foundation to make the dreams of two teenage girls come true. Emily and Brianna join the “Bachelor” couple as they explore the amusement park together. Everyone has a blast and the entire date is a success.

The date ends as Ashlee fills Sean in on her history of abuse as a child and her personal adoption experiences.

Sean actually walked Kacie out right after he told her he did not have romantic feelings for her. The two had met in New York for a charity event and apparently Sean immediately placed Kacie in the “friend zone”, never to be heard from again.
