'The Bachelor 2014' wedding: Fan favorite elopes in adorable fashion

A “The Bachelor 2014” star got married on Thursday, and there was at least one other big name from the franchise in attendance. Fans will be excited to hear that Renee Oteri got married and shared the news via Instagram on March 20.

Fans may have been a little shocked to hear that Renee was happily seeing someone and then engaged all by the time the “After the Final Rose” special aired, but it turns out this is a guy she has known for since she was a young girl. The two had dated on-and-off over the years, and reunited romantically shortly after her filming ended with Juan Pablo Galavis.

Renee and her fiancé moved to Seattle recently and it looks like they wasted no time in getting hitched. They eloped to the courthouse, and Desiree Hartsock was there to see it all go down. Oteri posted some photos on Instagram after the ceremony and teased “THAT just happened” as she said she had married her best friend of 22 years. Her son was the best man and Renee was all smiles.

This may well be the fastest a former contestant has gotten married after filming, but this fan favorite has a lot of support from viewers of the show. Will Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Farrell make it down the aisle at some point too? Will Andi Dorfman find her future husband as she films “The Bachelorette 2014”? Fans can't wait to find out. Congratulations to Renee Oteri and her new husband on their nuptials!
