Everybody watching ABC's “The Bachelor 2013” this season has been anxious about the letter they see Sean Lowe reading in the finale. Though ABC has kept “The Bachelor” spoilers about this one mysterious, some clues have been uncovered. Photos released by ABC on March 6 seem to confirm the spoilers that are out regarding the letter writer. Who wrote the note to Sean?
As noted by the sleuthers at the Bach and Bachette Fan Forums, the ABC photos have date stamps on them indicating when they were taken. There are a number of photos from the finale posted, and they can be seen in the slideshow above. Those wanting detailed “The Bachelor” spoilers can piece quite a bit together by the photos. Beware, as there are major spoilers ahead!
The picture showing Lindsay Yenter walking into the final rose ceremony is stamped with the time 4:32:03. Chris Harrison hands the letter to Sean Lowe at 5:39:44 and Catherine Giudici walks into the final rose ceremony at 5:53:26. Per the times noted, the letter doesn't change Sean Lowe's final rose decision, as when he reads it Lindsay has already come and gone.
Of course there are many fans who will doubt the significance of the timestamps or who will come up with scenarios that point in other directions. However, the timing of the photos does seem to reinforce “The Bachelor” spoilers that have already made their way out about the letter. As Wetpaint shared, Catherine Giudici writes the letter for Sean, and it's clear that he reads it just before she meets with him at the final rose ceremony.
The handwriting on the letter has been closely examined by those at the Bach and Bachette Fan Forums. While only snippets can be read, it is clear that the wording indicates it is from someone happy with how the experience has gone. ABC has also teased in their press release for the finale that it is from one of the final two women.
The show also foreshadowed this, it seems, by showing a clip of how Catherine Giudici has been writing notes for Sean Lowe all season. This may remind some of the show “Sweet Home Alabama” where Jeremiah James Korfe did something similar for Paige Duke.
Though show creator Mike Fleiss and ABC are trying to tease the letter as a game-changer, it seems that is all fluff and editing magic. From the looks of this, Catherine Giudici pours her heart out, in a positive way, to Sean Lowe in the letter prior to her walking down for the final rose ceremony.
While the previews are edited to show differently, the reality is very likely that Sean Lowe gets emotional because he loves what Catherine shares with him, and it gives him the clarity he has been seeking regarding his choice. Tune in Monday, March 11 to see if all “The Bachelor” spoilers and theories are true. ABC's “The Bachelor 2013” airs a three-hour finale including a live “After the Final Rose” show so fans can see how things are going for Sean and Catherine.
