“The Bachelor” Sean Lowe has completed his journey for love and will now move on to make his dancing debut. It was announced live, March 12, on “Good Morning America” that Sean will be competing on the hit show “Dancing With the Stars.”
Once the announcement was made Sean said, "I am so tired of keeping secrets, but now they're all out.” The other secret, aside from “DWTS”, was his engagement to Catherine Giudici. “The Bachelor” three-hour finale aired last night on ABC. It was finally revealed that Sean proposed to Catherine in Thailand. The couple is still together and announced on “After the Final Rose” that they want ABC to televise their wedding. They have no set date but have said they do not want to wait too long.
Sean is set to pair up on "DWTS" with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd. Murgatroyd won the mirror ball trophy on season 14 with contestant Donald Driver.
Sean will join 11 other celebrity contestants who will compete on the dance floor. The season 16 premiere will air on Monday, March 18 on ABC.
