“The Bachelor” 2013 aired its season finale with a very touching proposal from Sean Lowe to Catherine Giudici. Sean and Catherine are excited to be out in public together, holding hands and acting like any other couple would. “People” reported on March 13, however, that the couple has vowed to not become intimate until they are married.
Why does the couple want to wait? Sean is a Christian and born-again virgin. He said in the interview that, "From my perspective, I've lived life kind of selfishly for a long time. Now, I'm going to try to live it the way I know to be right."
Catherine was asked how she felt about the wait and she responded, “I honor him.”
The happy couple announced on “After the Final Rose” that they wanted ABC to televise their wedding. They said it was only fitting since this is how they found each other. The world watched their journey as they fell in love and will be able to follow them down the aisle to say “I do.”
No date has been set, but they have indicated they do not want a lengthy engagement.
In the meantime Sean has a new project and will be competing on “Dancing With the Stars” in its upcoming season on ABC.
