'The Bachelor' 2012: Shawntel Newton now promoting new book

Shawntel Newton may not have won the hearts of either Ben Flajnik or Brad Womack on "The Bachelor," but she has been able to use the experience as something else -- the platform to promote a new book.

As a means to promote her new work Final Rose (which is by and large a look at her own life and a discussion of her world working at a funeral home), Shawntel sat down with a local California TV affiliate -- and in the process of talking about her book and what it is like to be an instant celebrity, she said that she has gotten over heart TV heartbreak and is now dating and "happy."

The real question we have is if Shawntel will appear at Ben's "Women Tell All" season later this season -- and if she does, if some of the other ladies will be nicer to her than they were upon her first arrival on the show.
