“The Bachelor” 2012 is winding down as the hometown visits aired tonight. While the girls paraded Ben in front of their families, Courtney struggled with the right words to explain how she was feeling about Ben to her family.
She had all these asinine little phrases going on such as she “like, loves him,” but just couldn’t spit out a plain old fashion “I love you.” Even when telling Ben how she felt about him the words were close, but not there. “I love the way you are,” once again is not the traditional “I love you.” USA Today points out that after her mother heard the "love-like" phrase from Courtney she had her doubts that her daughter was in love with Ben.
Due to her inability to speak those precious words, she concocted an elaborate scheme of a fake wedding, complete with preacher, bow tie and paper and pens to write their own vows. Apparently this wedding was her way of telling Ben she loves him, without having to say the words. This was like watching a kid playing house starting with a Barbie and Ken wedding!
While seeing Courtney around her family showed her in a different light and you probably found yourself almost thinking how cute and childlike she can be, but then the flashbacks of previous episodes come flooding back and that fantasy is gone.
It looks like Courtney sealed her deal tonight, with her pseudo wedding and rings made from twine. Kacie left in tears, as she was tonight’s sacrifice. It looks like the other three girls all believe they’re the ones for Ben, so a couple of more ladies will leave “The Bachelor” in tears in the up and coming episodes.
Connecticut fans of “The Bachelor” 2012, can tune in on Monday nights at 8pm EST to Connecticut’s ABC Channel.
