We all had hoped that 'The Bachelor' would wake up and see his error in judgement with regards to "crazy" Courtney Robertson, but that was not the case this evening. Tonight three of the remaining women warned Ben yet again that Courtney was bad news but 'The Bachelor' gave Courtney a rose and sent Emily and Rachel packing. I guess love truly is blind.
Courtney fumed as she watched Lindzi and then Emily go on one-on-one dates with 'The Bachelor'. Courtney threatened that if she didn't get a date she wouldn't be taking Ben home to meet her family next week, she would not accept a rose if offered and "as a matter of fact" the spark she felt for 'The Bachelor' was gone.
Robertson did not have to make good on her threats as the final one-on-one date went to her. "Oh snap. He, (The Bachelor), knows whats good for him...I needed this. Snap. I'm excited", Courtney exclaimed.
To her credit Courtney confessed all that she was feeling to 'The Bachelor' starting with her complaints about Emily, then her not wanting to introduce him to her family and finally telling Ben that the spark had died. Ben was crushed that someone he cared about had lost the spark of attraction but he respected her feelings and understood.
The rest of their date went off without a hitch although for a man that hates drama, 'The Bachelor' put up with a lot of complaining. Ben told Courtney that he wanted someone who was a little on the edge, a little weird and he liked her uniqueness. She was like him in many ways. In the end Courtney's spark had returned and she was ready for Ben to meet the family.
One more date before the rose ceremony and that was a group date with Rachel, Nicki and Kacie B. 'The Bachelor' asks the women about Courtney and they lay it all on the line for him. The three tell Ben that they don't feel Courtney is in it for the right reasons. They explain that he doesn't see the real Courtney, she is not the nice person he thinks she is. Courtney is not the girl for him.
It was time for the rose ceremony but obviously 'The Bachelor' was unsure about Courtney because he called her aside to ask one simple question, "I want to know from you if you're in this for the right reasons?" Courtney answered, "With all due respect, you are the only reason I'm here. It's been hard on me yeah, but I really feel we have a future together."
All of the warnings flew out the window with Courtney's answer. 'The Bachelor' followed his heart and offered Courtney a rose. Her accusers, Emily and Rachel were sent home.
Ben Flajnik shared a little insight with 'Bachelor' fans this evening when he told the world that his "heart is captivated, captured,". While 'The Bachelor' has fallen head over heels in love, he is not ready nor willing to share the news with everyone just yet, he is waiting for just the right moment. Could that person be Courtney?
In the meantime three other women are falling deeper in love with 'The Bachelor', Ben. Such a sad and cruel situation to be in.
