The Bachelor 2011 finale: Brad Womack proposes to Emily Maynard (video)

The journey to find true love is at an end for The Bachelor, Brad Womack. During the final rose ceremomy, Womack made the decision of who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Emily Maynard had won his love, his heart and his devotion. The Bachelor will soon become a married man, he proposed to Emily Maynard and she accepted.

In a fairytale proposal, The Bachelor dropped down on one knee and professed his love to Emily Maynard. "You're it, you're my once in a lifetime, so what I'm asking you is this. I'm asking for you to please give me your forever. Please let me be your best friend. Please let me protect you and your beautiful daughter and please give me the opportunity to love you for the rest of your life. I love you, Emily. I am truly in love with you. So, I'm shaky. Emily, please make me happier than I have ever been in my life and marry me."

Emily Maynard, always calm, always cool and always collected, simply replied, "I would love to."

Fast forward and it is now six weeks after 'The Bachelor' final rose ceremony, six weeks since Brad Womack proposed to Emily Maynard. Are the two still madly in love? Is the wedding still on?

"It's been a tough go," Brad Womack explains during 'The Bachelor: After the Rose Ceremony.' Brad Womack and Emily Maynard were actually going to wed during the program, but unfortunately the wedding was called off by Emily. She is having difficulties with trust issues and the two need to work on problems within the relationship, namely anger management. The two confessed to having "knock-down, drag-out" arguments, and admitted that the relationship had become volatile.

While Emily Maynard stated she would not be moving to Brad Womack's home town of Austin, Texas anytime soon, nor would there be a wedding in the near future, she was "confident" in her feelings for The Bachelor. The two are deeply in love and still engaged.
