Chris Harrison welcomed everyone to tonight’s “The Women Tell All’ reunion special that brought the return of this season’s most memorable ladies. They rolled footage of Chris and Sean crashing Bachelor viewing parties full of screaming women across the country.
Chris introduced Ashley P., Diana, Brooke, Daniella, Jackie, Kacie B., Leslie H., Kristy, Taryn, Katie, Amanda, Selma, Robyn, Sarah, Desiree, Lesley M., and AshLee. They showed a short video recap of the season and some of Tierra’s finest moments before Chris turned to Desiree to ask if she thought that drama would unfold. She admitted she went in with blind eyes and didn’t know what to expect. Lesley chimed in and said she has watched the show from the beginning and tried to stay in the background. Chris then asked about Tierra. Selma said they all tried so hard with her, and AshLee said she didn’t want to confront her in St. Croix, but she had to. Chris brought up Tierra’s fall down the stairs and the polar bear plunge and asked if those were real or fake. Many of the girls and the audience thought it was fake, but Brooke said she was capitalizing on opportunities and everyone else was jealous they hadn’t thought of that. Chris told the ladies that Tierra was back stage, which no one was happy about.
Tierra came out to a very polite round of applause from the audience and evil glares from the rest of the ladies. Chris thanked her for talking to him and asked if she ever thought she would be perceived this way. In typical Tierra fashion, she explained that she lights up a room with people she knows and is comfortable around, but others weren’t judging her for the person inside. Tierra thought getting the first rose put a target on her, and she wanted to throw it the second she stepped into the house. She said wasn’t going there to make a best friend, so Chris asked why she wasn’t friendly. Tierra said she stayed true to herself throughout her time on the show and never specifically said anyone’s name and said anything bad about them. Chris gave her the chance to apologize or speak about any of her regrets, but she said she had none because she never said anything bad about the girls.
Chris opened things up to the rest of the ladies. Robyn jumped right in and called Tierra delusional, and Jackie said she wasn’t there to be friends and was only there for Sean. Selma commented on how she tried to protect Tierra up until she told her good morning and received a look and silence. (Tierra didn’t remember this). Brooke chimed in and told her not to seem innocent because she didn’t try to make friends with anyone in the house, but Tierra was set on the idea that she was friendly with the other women.
Tierra said that AshLee continued to pick and push at her, so AshLee spoke up and said she was ready to go. They argued over how things happened in St. Croix. Tierra said AshLee ganged up on her, but AshLee disagreed. Chris went to Lesley, who had been there to witness it. She said AshLee was tough, but somebody had to be. Tierra rambled on and said she guesses she handled things in a bad way and apologized. Chris told Tierra that America picked on her about saying she couldn’t control her eyebrow and having a sparkle. Tierra said she was Little Miss Nevada and gave excuses on where she got her sparkle. Chris asked if she was engaged, which she admitted to. Tierra explained that she re-connected with someone she had been with in the past, and they got engaged in January. (Keep in mind, filming ended in November. Sounds like she was really heartbroken over Sean).
Chris brought Sarah down next, and they watched a short recap of her time on the show. Sarah had tears in her eyes and said it was hard to see that and watch it all back. She explained she didn’t understand what changed and that she thinks she is pretty, smart, and great and doesn’t know what is wrong with her. She added she hadn’t talked to family and friends about a lot of the things she talked about on the show with Sean.
Next up in the hot seat was Desiree, who Chris referred to as a fan favorite and favorite of Sean’s. Des talked about soul mates and seeing herself with Sean before talk turned to her hometown dates. She admitted her brother was skeptical of the experience and regretted coming off the way he did. She said she values his opinion, but she would never let it steer her one way or the other. Des said the hometown date certainly didn’t help things and called it the worst hometown in Bachelor history. She hadn’t expected to fall for Sean and learned from the experience.
The most recent woman to exit the show, AshLee, joined Chris down in front next. She told Chris she actually wasn’t pissed and that she just didn’t know what to say to Sean because he blind-sided her and broke her heart. AshLee also said she was no longer in love with Sean and after watching the show, she realized he wasn’t the man he thought she was – with her, he was a southern gentleman, while he acted like a frat boy with the others. She didn’t want to know when he changed his mind, but she wanted to know why.
Sean stepped out to plenty of screams and cheers from the audience and joined Chris on stage. He said he was genuinely happy to be there and had only fond memories of all the women. Chris gave AshLee the chance to speak, and she told him she wanted to know what happened. Sean started to answer, but Chris asked her to come down and talk to them on the couch next to Sean. Sean went on to say he was stressed out the day he sent her home because he looked to her as “the one” from the very beginning. He didn’t feel like he could find the laughter with her he wanted in his best friend and had to go with the two women he wanted to create a family with. For someone who had “moved on” from Sean, AshLee asked plenty of questions and even told Sean he had said to her he didn’t have feelings for the other women twice. He denied it completely, and AshLee kept saying, “Sean, come on.” (Awkward). In the end, AshLee told Sean she wished him all the best, and Sean refused to agree with what she said.
Once the commercial break ended, they showed behind-the-scenes footage of Sean and AshLee still arguing. She said she would never have called him out if she wasn’t sure he said that before finally getting back to her seat. Sean said he apologized for saying anything that led her on like that, if he did.
Chris changed the direction of the conversation to Des, who Sean said always makes him smile, but her downfall was that he didn’t really feel like she opened up and let him all the way in. He also commented that he had never received so many comments and that he basically got torn apart via social media for sending her home.
They showed the blooper reel, which contained plenty of foul language, bugs, geese, and poorly opened wine and champagne bottles. The show wrapped up with a short recap of Catherine and Lindsay’s journeys on the show and a preview of next week’s finale.
