The awesomeness continues in 2012: Sam, Marcus and Lee together for one amazing night! Ladies and gentlemen: We have a Trifecta! The top 3 performers from the U.K. are all performing together for one amazing night in April in the U.S.! Get your tickets now! A trifecta is known as a tiercé in France and Hong Kong and as a tris in Italy. The word comes from the related betting term, “perfecta.” In the U.S. it means the 3 top winners in a race. O.K., this isn’t exactly a race, but we know that good things happen in threes. Amazing things happen in threes.
Lee MacDougall has just announced that he will be playing with Marcus Foster and Sam Bradley at Pine Mountain Camp in Lake Arrowhead, California, a private mountain retreat near Los Angeles on Sunday, April 1st from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. (Directions are on the website regarding lodging and travel).
You all remember our favorite singer/songwriter/musicians from the U.K., right? Those hedonist chaps from England who set the stage in America for some of the best indie pop/folk music of 2011? Sam Bradley. Marcus Foster. Lee MacDougall. Need I say more?
Sam Bradley blazed a musical trail of energy, song, and fun in 2011, completing 2 different tours in the U.S., as well as performing in London, Hawaii and Vancouver while debuting his new EP, “Zuni.” More recently, Sam has been in the studio recording his new album which promises to be a little of “old and new” for the fans – a fusion of eclectic pop/rock/folk sounds that Sam has been developing through his tours.
Marcus Foster completed a tour in England and debuted his new album “Nameless Path” and a new EP “Tumble Down" in 2011. He also debuted a music video featuring Kristen Stewart titled “I Was Broken,” which is stunning. He is performing with Christina Perri on January 18th at 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London. And he will be performing at South by Southwest (SXSW) in the U.S. in March this year, as well.
Lee MacDougall is our newest Londoner to win over America’s hearts. He completed an extensive tour in the U.S. in 2011 and performed at SXSW where he will be performing again this year. His EPs “If Walls Could Talk” and “For a Few Tales More” are available at his shows and on his website. And each CD comes with a free signed tour poster, as well. And Lee MacDougall's music is brilliant.
The “Lee MacDougall, Marcus Foster, Sam Bradley Event” is a semi-private event and is limited to 50 tickets. If you would like to attend, please email Laura at: ijugle2@aol.com or tweet @SEtexasKat for details. Tickets are almost sold out.
