On Friday, January 11, Packer Schopf Gallery is hosting an opening reception from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm to kick off the exhibitions of Lauren Levato’s drawings, Andréa Stanislav’s sculpture and multi-media, Bruce Riley’s mixed media painting, and Deborah Baker’s embroidery. The Terry Adkins Recital brings together sculpture, photography and video works by the artist from January 11 to March 24 at the Winter 2013 main gallery exhibition in Evanston’s Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art. An opening reception will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 12, at the museum which is located at 40 Arts Circle Drive on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus. Bead painter Lanre Buraimoh, mask maker Annette Jackson and sculptor Ning-Chiao Hsu will merge their respective talents in Cultural Collage, an exhibition celebrating West African and Native American culture and heritage that runs from January 18 to February 17 at Northwestern University’s Dittmar Memorial Gallery, located on the first floor of Norris University Center on 1999 Campus Drive in Evanston.
