The Arc of Baltimore celebrates the 9th 'Annual Art in the Round'

On Friday, November 12, 2010, The Arc of Baltimore features exhibits and a silent auction of art created by people with developmental disabilities from 7-10PM at the American Visionary Museum, 800 Key Highway in Baltimore.

Tickets are $35.00 at the door. Save five dollars and order online from The Arc of Baltimore.

Hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting will be offered during the exhibit and auction.

Last year's event was held on November 6, 2009 with more than 350 guests in attendance. The happy artists posed for pictures with the winning bidders who bought their artwork.

The Arc's mission is 'to ensure that people with developmental disabilities have maximum opportunities to actively participate in all aspects of community life and to offer programs and services that support them in doing so.'

The Arc supports families through their Family and Children division by offering 'a series of seminars each year that are designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of various topics regarding children with special needs. Presenters include experts in the field as well as parents and caregivers with practical insights and experience.'
