This coming weekend from Friday until Sunday, April 18-20th, is the 28th annual WonderCon, the comic book, science fiction, and motion picture convention currently held at the Anaheim Convention Center. This will be Anaheim's third year since its start in 1987 at the San Francisco Bay Area.

The programming schedule will include panel discussions, comics publisher presentations, movie and TV series events, and many others. On Friday night, there is a screening of the new WB Animation's and DC Universe's animated movie Son of Batman at 6 pm at the Arena, adjacent to the Exhibit Hall.
TV/Movie celebrities who are attending (and available for autographs) include Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), Larry Thomas (Seinfeld's Soup Nazi), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), Noel Gugliemi (The Walking Dead), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), Kate Vernon (Battlestar Galactica), and many others.
Like all the other conventions of this ilk, there will be a Masquerade for the cosplayers (costume players), Autograph Area (for favorite stars and celebrities), and Porfolio Review for the next would-be artists. For those who are looking to take home cool stuff (both free and paid-for), all the big vendors will be at the Exhibit Hall.
