The Annual Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival Returns to Brooklyn, NY

It is an exciting for all you science fiction, paranormal and supernatural fans. No, it's not Halloween. That holiday has passed, but it is time to get ready for the The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival. It is a time for the sci-fi enthusiast to get out an enjoy independent features and short films. This year marks the second annual film festival and will be held in Brooklyn, New York

In November 2013, the festival recently announced the official selections for the event to honor one of the most revered writers within the literary world. Also, the four-day experience will launch in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn and will run from December 5-8, 2013 at the prestigious IndieScreen Theater.

There will screen numerous innovative features and shorts which are adapted or inspired by the unprecedented works of Philip K. Dick. Each of the films capture the distinctive boldness of the the genre and bring forth some of the most riveting moments of science fiction cinema.

The festival organizers anticipate another successful event, further solidifying the city's strong and endless appreciation for Philip K. Dick. The first New York City festival saw record crowds of over 1,000 participants for the exclusive screening of Radio Free Albemuth which was based on Dick's 1985 novel published three years after his death.

The Philip K. Dick Festival includes the following genres: Science Fiction, The Supernatural, Metaphysics and Drama. This year's films are set to delight its attendees with its entertaining and visually captivating themes which have made the event a favorable and continued success.
