The KGB is on the look out for a mole within their own organization reports Zap 2 It on March 4. It seems that suspicion was thrown onto the Jennings which could end up tearing apart their marriage as well as get the other one hurt.
While the KGB question Philip, they hold Elizabeth separately. The longer he goes without telling the KGB anything the more likely it is that Elizabeth or Philip could get hurt. It seems likely that the Jennings' neighbor Stan who is also an FBI agent, could be the one doing the interrogation as he is already suspicious of the couple and thinks that there is something off with them. During the cold war, Reagan has everyone running a witch hunt and the Jennings find it difficult to continue without risking their children' finding out who they really are.
Stan will do anything to keep his mole within the KGB alive and safe but his plan on how he's going to do it not only causes a larger risk of her being discovered but he could get her killed.
Will the KGB be able to flush out its moles or the FBI find it easier to infiltrate?
