"The Americans" is currently airing on Channel 27 in Tempe. On Thursday, Feb. 14, Spoiler TV shared the photos released for "The Americans" episode 1.04 titled "In Control." On this episode teased in the new photos, an attempt will be made on President Reagan's life, and Phillip and Elizabeth will rush to handle the fallout it causes the KGB. Their neighbor, Stan, will do his best to use his own sources to find out if the KGB was behind the assassination attempt.
Keri Russell is the actress behind Elizabeth on this FX series, and she spoke about the series in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight Online. She said the following about why she took on the series:
"I just thought the world was so interesting. I like that it's couched in this spy-world in 1984, but to me the strength and the heart of it is the complicated marriage. We're on episode six and it's still that crazy complicated, very deceitful, unexpectedly sweet marriage that I think is what keeps the show going."
The actress can also be seen on the big screen in "Dark Skies" starting next Friday. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
