Selena Gomez Winning the Gold Metal in our Silver / Nude Fashion Category!
The American Music Awards 2009 Big fashion winner is the very prominent trend of Silver and Nude! Both colors made repeat appearances on the red carpet over and over again! We saw silver come down the carpet in several different ways. There were full silver dressesas worn by Selena Gomez, Kate Hudson, or even Shakira’s performance dress. There were silver studs, sequins, and jewels paired with black as seen on Fergie, Kelly Carkson and Nelly Furtado. Even Adam Lambert was on the silver bandwagon with a full gunmetal silver three piece suit he wore for his performance. Merging into nude we start to see nude paired with Silver in Nicole Kidman’s lacy asymmetrical gown. Kristen Bell wore in silver shoes and a silver meets nude (aka champagne) dress. And then the trend moves to full nude dresses, like the ones on Sofia Vergara’s Asymmetrical nude, Carrie Underwood in sparkling nude and Demi Lovato in nude with Crystals.
But Selena Gomez takes the fashion cake for me, out of everyone on my winners list. She’s only 17, but she truly is a style star!
