The American Cincinnatus Project welcomes Lang Sias

The American Cincinnatus Project cordially invites you to our next candidate forum this Monday, April 12th at Golden’s own Golden Grounds Coffee.  The evening of the 12th will prove a fine opportunity to interact with our guest in a more intimate and informative setting as we wind down from the County Convention the preceding Saturday.

In February we welcomed Gubernatorial Candidate Dan Maes and we believe attendees found the forum useful and informative. This month, we will be welcoming Congressional District 7 Candidate, Lang Sias. Like Maes, Sias is new to Colorado’s political scene. Boasting an impressive and diverse resume Lang Sias is eager to engage with Colorado voters, many of whom have a variety of questions regarding his past experience and future political goals. The 7th Congressional District, since its conception, has been a key battleground arena. With an even spread of Democrats, Republicans and Independents, Colorado’s CD-7 is no easy victory for our Republican Candidates so please take the time to stop by and get to know Candidate Sias.
For those of you who are not familiar, the American Cincinnatus Project was formed out of my belief in the personal responsibility of the U.S. citizenry.  After leading the highly under-estimated Continental forces into victory over the British, General Washington refused the obvious reward of revolutionary victory, a crown. Like the roman hero, Cincinnatus, Washington wished only to return to his home in the spirit of Republicanism. Washington understood his role in the newly established Republic, earning the immortal nickname, “The American Cincinnatus.”   Unfortunately, thanks to an apathetic citizenry and self-serving leadership, Washington’s commitment to a People’s Republic has slowly deteriorated over the decades.
As a freelance writer I have attempted to do my part by sharing my concerns for our country in the form of writing. In an effort to make a bigger impact and touch a larger collection of like-minded Conservatives, I recently organized the American Cincinnatus Project. The ACP endeavors to personally invest time in each of our future Republican leaders. ACP Candidate Forums are intended to serve as an opportunity for my fellow Conservative voters to personally engage the candidates and vet their credentials. I, like you, am looking for leaders who appreciate their role as stewards, not authors, of the United States Constitution.
