Ah yes, Spider-Man, the great web swinger. He's had a number of decent games, maybe one that sticks out as amazing, and now Wii U players will get their chance to swing around New York city in the spandex.
Last years "The Amazing Spider-Man" was a decent romp for the web swinger, and of course it came out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Unfortunately it came out too late in the year to make the jump to the hot new console, the Wii U. Plans were put into place however to make that port happen, and it's just about ready to launch.
Beenox made the announcement today that "The Amazing Spider-Man" for the Wii U will launch on March 5, 2013. Nintendo Wii U owners aren't simply getting a port of the game however, they're getting what you could call the ultimate edition of the game.
The ultimate edition package comes with four DLC packs that have been released for the other consoles, and yes it will include the DLC that allows you to play as Stan Lee. The game will also support off-TV play, meaning you can play the game on the GamePad while someone uses the TV.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" will launch for the Wii U on March 5, 2013.
