According to NME on Dec. 17, a new "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" movie trailer had been released with some extra film footage. It appears in one part of the trailer that Peter Parker's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, played by Emma Stone, almost let the cat out of the bag by revealing his identity.
Also, there is a familiar scene similar to that of the Sam Raimi version of "Spider-Man", played by Tobey Maguire, where he's seen struggling to circumvent Aunt May's attempt to get inside his bedroom.
Director Marc Webb had finally concluded filming the project in June and Andrew Garfield is returning in the sequel along with a host of multiple villains and of course Oscorp's underlying ability to launch an entirely new type of Marvel Cinematic Universe of it's own for Sony Pictures and Oscorp would likely be an overall villain in this franchise. The leader of this villainous corporation is Harry Osborne and is played by "Chronicle's" Dane DeHaan.
The Mary Jane Watson character, who was suppose to be played by Shailene Woodley, was slated to appear in this film, but was later cut and reserved for the third installment of the film sequel.
Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is set to be released on May 2, 2014.
