Tonight on “The Amazing Race” the leg that did not end last week continued with the first task of flying to Bali, Indonesia and once they arrived they would need to find their way to the Monkey Forest where a monkey would give them their next clue, by breaking the coconut that the team would give them as an offering.
The Detour consisted of Sandy Bottom, each member of the team would collect sand from the bottom of a river and then transported up hill 200 hundred yards to the bricklayer, once they filled a large container at his feet they would receive their next clue, or the team could chose Fruity Top, that consisted of building an elaborate religious offering and taking it on a parade once they got to the temple, the priest there would give them their next clue.
Dave & Connor due to the injury on Dave’s Achilles heel chose Fruity Top, however, the next clue was the Road Block, where they would need to search among surfing boards for a picture on a surf board of something that they all had seen, that being a picture of the holy man who blessed them while on the second leg of the race. Dave & Connor trekked on and tonight without an Express Pass again was the first team to arrive at the pit stop. But then there was a surprise, that has never happened on “The Amazing Race”, that being a team with the Express Pass finishing last and thus being eliminated, yes, John and Jessica who had strategically planned to use that valuable advantage wound up losing their way and in the process the race.
“The Amazing Race” runs on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS.
