"The Amazing Race" cast spoilers were just released to the public. There are 11 teams racing and "TAR" is bringing back the double express pass twist this season. The cast group photo and details about the teams were posted on Aug. 30, 2013.
This year, the teams range from oil field workers to ER doctors. There is a team of former NFL players and a team of baseball players' wives. The "Amazing Race" contestants will, according to CBS, “paraglide high above the skies of Iquique, Chile, subject themselves to a bone-chilling plunge in Norway and buckle up for Formula One Racing in Abu Dhabi.”
The twist for season 23 of "The Amazing Race" is the same as it was last year. The first team to check-in after the first leg of the race is rewarded with two express passes. The pass permits the team to skip one of the required tasks of their choosing. The second pass must be given away to another team before the end of the fourth leg of the race. Below is the full cast of "The Amazing Race" season 23.
