The Alternate Routes to play Milwaukee's Shank Hall

Connecticut rock outfit, The Alternate Routes, are currently on a co-headline stint with Red Wanting Blue that's dubbed the Sounds Like Summer tour. It extends through August across North America.

Their inspirational single, "Nothing More," has been generating buzz as they trek toward a studio release of the same name. Fans can contribute to the crowd-sourced project via Pledge Music. The project is a culmination of a several year effort that's being produced by Peter Kattis (The National, The Head and The Heart). A contribution will yield an instant download of three completed songs, while the remainder of the album will be unlocked when the specified goal is reached.

Check them out on tour this weekend at Shank Hall in Milwaukee on July 12. Other area dates include Chicago, Lake Geneva, Minneapolis and an appearance at the Oyster Ridge Music Festival in Diamondville, Wis., near the end of the month. A complete list of tour dates is provided below.
