The celebrities walked the red carpet last night in LA at the BET awards, but the real star was the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang. The car was a big hit with the celebrities that couldn't resist stopping for a quick photo opt.
Ford, which was the exclusive automotive sponsor for the awards red carpet pre-show, gave away the keys to the Mustang to New Jersey resident Obi Bryant. Bryant was the lucky winner of the #MustangAndMe contest after uploading a video to BET.com, showcasing how he embodies the spirit and passion of the Mustang.
Celebrities that stopped by to check out the car included, Model Amber Rose, BET Chairwoman and CEO Debra Lee, BET's "The Game" actor Hosea Chanchez, Actor/Singer Mack Wilds, Will I Am, Actor/Singer Tyrese Gibson, Gospel Singer Yolanda Adams, and comedian Gary Owens.
The 2015 Mustang will hit dealerships this fall.
The BET awards that's in its 13th year, was hosted by comedian and actor Chris Rock, and featured performances from Robin Thicke, who dedicated a song to his wife Paula Patton, many say was a plea to reconcile their marriage. Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, and the legendary Lionel Richie also performed, among many more.
Some winners of the evening included Beyonce for best female R&B/Pop artist, Pharrell Williams for Best Male R&B/POP artist and Video of the year for “Happy,” Drake, Best Male Hip Hop artist, Lupita Nyong’o, Best Actress and Chiwetel Ejiofor, Best Actor.
