The AirClipz could be the hottest mobile accessory for frequent flyers

While trying out newly acquired swim fins from the local Walmart, the LA Travel Diva Examiner literally bumped into Marty Caggiula, inventor of the AirClipz—one of the hottest, new accessories for mobile devices to hit the market.

We were both swimming in the Pacific Ocean in Kihei where Marty manages properties (on land, not sea) and the Diva is vacationing with Richard and friends from Seattle. A wave pushed me into Marty and we both laughed and struck a conversation during which Marty asked if I flew coach or first. My reply of was “Hey, I’, the LA Travel Diva and I never do coach. He smiled and explained why he questioned my flying preference. “We just invented a clip for iPad and other mobile devices that hook onto tray tables that are in the back rows of planes.” He got my interest and later that day delivered four devices to our condo, two in pinks and two white. We clipped them on an iPad and saw how this could come in handy an why it flew off the proverbial shelves when it launched a year ago.

Marty said The AirClip was conceived when Chris, his brother/business partner was attempting to create a hook on which to hang his jacket during a flight. “He flies frequently, “ Marty explained and wanted to keep his jacket handy. So while playing with designs the AirClip was born. It sells for $12.95 plus shipping at www.airclipz.com.
