If you're at Columbia Public Library this Thursday, May 1, there are two different things going on.

First Thursday Book Discussion

Noon-1 p.m. Friends Room

Bring a brown bag lunch and discuss The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker. The Earth's rotation spontaneously slows and Julia watches this process as the natural world changes and affects everything in her life.

Mother Goose Celebration

5-7 p.m. Children's Program Room

If you are two and a half years old or older, bring Mom and Dad with you to meet Mother Goose. Enjoy some of her favorite rhymes and see what critters are visiting from Marohl's Horse farm. Afterwards, pose for some pictures with Mother Goose.
