As we near the end of the year 2009, the African American Genealogy Examiner would like to look back and remember the accomplishments of the past year.
I have enjoyed these past eight months writing the African American Genealogy Examiner. It has been a wonderful experience in sharing my knowledge and learning from others. I truly appreciate the warm community of Geneabloggers that has welcomed me into its ranks.
I look forward to continuing to write the African American Genealogy Examiner, and hope to inspire as much thought about genealogical issues and African-American history and heritage in 2010 as in these past eight months.
Please take the time to look over some highlights from 2009:
Timeline of Significant Events:
24 August 2009: Ami Spencer of the ‘Write Out Loud’ blog
interviews the author of the African American Genealogy Examiner.
20 November 2009: Robyn Smith of the
‘Reclaiming Kin’ blog awards the African American Genealogy Examiner with the ‘Kreative Blogger Award.’
