Since its introduction in May of 2010, hundreds of families have used Adventure Pass from Douglas County Libraries to explore The Wildlife Experience. Now the library is thrilled to add Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison, CO, to the list of cultural institutions patrons may visit with a no-fee Adventure Pass reservation.
Two Douglas County Libraries Adventure Passes are available each day, and each reservation is good for four admissions and a guided tour of four Dinosaur Ridge sites. Dinosaur Ridge offers trails and exhibits designed to bring prehistoric Colorado to life, complete with real dinosaur tracks and bones millions of years old.
Dinosaur Ridge is visited by more than 100,000 dinosaur enthusiasts each year, and offers a Visitor Center, free parking, picnic tables, a gift shop, and a snack bar. Tours are appropriate for visitors ages 8 and up, and require footwear and outerwear suited to Colorado’s changing weather.
