Each moment provides an opportunity for both experiment and proof in terms of the way things work in this world in which we are intimately connected mind, body and soul. The key to this connection lies in the fundamental principle of paying attention to what is going on not only all around you but also as well everywhere inside of you. This kind of awareness can be called the Active Awareness.
The Active Awareness brings to the forefront of your consciousness the connection between what you were thinking about and what you are experiencing. It is a time induced parameter that sometimes with practice is instantaneous or also with a practiced attention comes about after an unspecified interval. What is crucial either spontaneously or after however long a period of time is that "aha" moment wherein you recognize that the world around you is taking shape exactly as you have envisioned it. This is moment of Active Awareness when you just know that you are one with all.
Our modern technological world is a marvel of the intricacies of control we have over so many of the functions of the world from the smallest to the largest of these intricacies. This control is overt and outward in nature and yet at some point it was visualized in mind and then wrought upon the canvas of demonstration. This too is Active Awareness and is something that we must never lose sight of. Everything that comes to be first appears within as an idea that then accrues the world of form around it.
It is one thing to experience these moments of revelation, the experience of the Active Awareness as it dawns within; it is another kind of awareness that sets up this brilliance of inner connection. This setting up of the consciousness that is ready for the "aha" moment might be called "stalking the mystery" since we are indeed always in a state of waiting as the next thought comes into being. This stasis of waiting may however, be shaped to our own particular intention. In other words we may set up the mold that waits to receive the particular intention that is being setup to in effect filter the thoughts through which the mystery itself must move in order to express the inner nature in an overt manner.
In this way we can keep uncovering the mystery endlessly via "stalking the mystery" and then experiencing the Active Awareness. It makes sense to want to know how everything works especially when your life is literally on the line every moment of the day. The truth of the matter is that learning about the way things work turns out to be a lifelong study of the miraculous bringing us constantly in line with the creation of which we are tied to within and without. It is something we are born with and then given charge over. The choice to investigate remains our own but keep in mind that if you want to change the channel of your life you have to know which buttons to push and that only you can push these buttons.
The deeper mystery in all of this is that Hashem is mystery and discoverer and that somewhere in between is where our consciousness comes in to be the bridge to this never ending awareness of the way things and in a more specific way the pathways that our lives take within each moment of awakening. B"H.
