THE ABSOLUTE PROOF AND TRUTH OF BIBLICAL PROPHESY

THE ABSOLUTE PROOF AND TRUTH OF BIBLICAL PROPHESY

There are professed psychics and seers. There is Nostradamus St. Malachy and a host of other proposed future tellers. Many of their pronouncements like Nostradamus’ is like the 50% weathercast.

What would be the absolute proof that God whom scripture says inhabits eternity. Really foretold the scripture? Before we tell, let’s look specifically at what cannot be absolute proof:

1. The prediction cannot mean many different things
2. It must be clear and impossible to have been guessed until a certain time

3. A person that inhabits eternity (not restricted by time) must be careful to allow free will.

4. Must not make it so that the prophecy is understood to the point that someone or group can be accused of working to bring it to pass.
5. near the end of time predicted or after the fact must be easy to see that nothing except that which actually happened once, in all of history can fit the facts.

Now consider the Prophecy of St Malachy, concerning the final 112 Popes; can you see the problem?

It fails numbers 2, 3, 4, and maybe 5.

The Bible contains various types of prophecies. Prophecies that come to pass in a single generation, may be true, but may not constitute proof to a later generation. They may believe that people conspired to bring a clear prophecy to pass. A different type example would be: Daniel the 11 chapter which contains the longest contiguous prophecy in the Bible. It gives a rundown of history from Greece forward, many say to Christ. Others says to the very end of mans’ world governments. Same generation Prophecies and those of varying future time lengths will be convincing to the generation that knows it was a real prediction that came to pass in spite of people. Daniel 11 is considered by many so-called educated people as having been written after the fact. How anyone could be that accurate unless it was written after the events, they say.

As you can imagine, believers were very happy for others that the up to 2200 year old Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. They are proof to the natural mind that the words in the Bible are not just something people made up in the last couple hundred years.

Now the prophecies in Daniel the 2nd and 7th Chapters and Revelation are examples of Prophecy that fits the absolute proofs spoken of in points 1 through 5 above.

In a nut shell it says:

  1. There will be 4 kingdoms: *Babylon, *media-Persia, *Greece, *Rome over the territories mentioned.
  2. The 4th will somehow last until Christ comes and sets up the Kingdom of God and takes over the world.
  3. At some point during the 4th kingdom a different kind of king (little horn) will rise up, overthrow three kings; Exercise the same power of the Emperor; change the commands of God and his times of celebrations. Be religious. Blaspheme God and persecute Gods people. Prophecy falsely against God.
  4. Revelation add details. This forth Kingdom will fall and rise again 7 times. The little Horn that speaks against God in Revelation is called the False Prophet and its organization is called a mystery Babylon the Harlot.

It has been 2500 years since Daniel who was told that his prophecy was to be (hidden) sealed until the time of the end. Even then it will only be understood by those that believe God. They will take time to look at it now that history can be read like a book.

See my article, the symbolic Beasts of revelations for details.

This prophecy fits all of the requirements that I mentioned above. A person looking through history honestly and forensically will see that the things predicted; taken altogether fits a single scenario that could NEVER have been predicted by a man.

It happened over a 2,000 year period with different people and groups with different concerns. No one understood that it would be over such a long period of time, so people would guess or explain how it might happen in their day by spiritualizing the plain statements and analogies. After all it would seem to make no sense that one Empire would rise and fall to exist 8 times. (Revelation 17:10) Nor would any self respecting seer guess some religious and state ruler control that empire at all 7 revivals of it. This could only happen once and with one set of entities. The odds against this scenario are impossibly astronomical. That makes each prophecy concerning the beginning, middle and end of such a repetitious entity seem darn near impossible. Yet now that we are nearing the end of these thing, we can see them for what them much more clearly as Daniel was told would happen. Yes the Proofs of God by prophecy are enormous, since we now see these things NEVER honestly could have meant anything else. Don’t forget to get the details in my article called, the symbolic Beasts of revelations.

I will end with the statement in the book of Daniel chapter 2, verses; 27 and 28. “Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, the secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, show unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.”

Did God plan before the 6 day recreation?
