The 8th Annual San Francisco Social has wrapped up and brought in thousands of dollars for a worthy cause.
This year's gala was held at the W Hotel and featured a silent auction, top shelf drinks and burlesque entertainment with the night's profits going to Larkin Street Youth Services. More than 550 young professionals came out to support the cause and show that you do not have to be greying to care about your community. In all, more than 75-thousand-dollars had been raised by the end of the evening.
The SFS began seven years ago as a benefit for the Sonoma Jazz+ Festival, and has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities in the years since. SFS is a group of civic-minded young adults that come together to inspire others, raise a bit of money and have a good time in the process.
