Hunter Hayes gave a spectacular performance singing "Invisible" a new song. A fabulous song filled with words that touch the heart and soul of every individual to some core. Quotes from John Lennon, Steve Jobs, Lady Gaga, Johnny Depp and others were up on the screen behind Hunter while he performed. Dare to be something more, dare to be something difference. Brilliant Performance Hunter Hayes. BRAVO...

As Hayes told CBS This Morning during an interview today (Jan. 24), the song is very personal for him. As a kid, he was very focused on music from an early age, which often left him, as the song title suggests, ‘invisible’ to others around him.

“That was my heart and soul. That was my comfort zone,” he said of music, which he began playing when he was only a few years old. “I was a total geek. I was a total nerd. I still am and I’m proud of that, but it took me awhile to realize it’s okay to be proud of that.”
