The 55th Anniversary Grammy's Sent a Memo to Artists to Cover-up

In the past, the Grammy Awards have been known for being conservative. Every now and then, there would be one celebrity that would push the limits of fashion, however; when J. Lo showed up to the awards ceremony in that revealing green Versace outfit in 2000, it seemed like it gave license for others to reveal as much as they could reveal.

Well, this years Grammys have put a ban on displaying breasts, buttocks, see-throughs and any form of genitals. Watching the pre-Grammy Live from the Red Carpet event on E!, it seems like everyone is complying. But wait a minute, R&B singer, Miguel, showed up with his longtime girlfriend, Nazanin Mandi, who showed a little side-boob and stated that she’s ‘rebellious’. Katy Perry showed up with a green body-fitting, cleavage-revealing dress. We’ll see if the Grammys will have an issue with this.

All-in-all, no matter what the artists wear, it’s the Super Bowl and the Oscars of the music business and it will be exciting.
