Spring is here and that means it’s time once again for Long Island’s Spring Restaurant Week 2014. Restaurant Week promotions are a great way for diners to get out and experience the best in fine dining at affordable prices, and they’ve become increasingly popular ever since they were first introduced in New York City in 1992.

The 4th Annual Long Island Spring Restaurant Week runs for eight days, beginning Sunday, April 27th and runs through Sunday, May 4th. The special event features prix fixe, three-course meals for just $27.95 a person all night except Saturday when the special menus will be offered only until 7 p.m. Check out a small sampling of some of the great restaurants participating:

Nassau County:

Bayou Restaurant, Bellmore
Caracara Mexican Grill, Farmingdale
Heirloom Tavern, Glen Head
Luce Restaurant, East Norwich
Shiro of Japan, Carle Place

Suffolk County:

Cafe Joelle, Sayville
Casa Rustica, Smithtown
Fado, Huntington
Oceans 5 Seafood Market and Eatery, Shoreham
View Restaurant, Oakdale
