The 35th Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival, presented by Fiesta of Five Flags, will be held in historic Seville Square in downtown Pensacola, Florida. The event will take place from Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30, featuring arts and crafts, live entertainment, children's activities and all the seafood you can eat.
The Pensacola Seafood Festival has been recognized as one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast, attracting visitors from all over. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to take part in the 35th Annual Pensacola Seafood Festival.
A variety of seafood dishes prepared by carefully selected food vendors will be offered such as seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, grilled conch, soft shell crab, coconut shrimp and Caribbean crab cakes.
A new addition that started at last year’s seafood festival was the Gulf to Table area, where visitors could purchase and enjoy small portions of seafood from their favorite area restaurants. This year's Gulf to Table area will include ten restaurants featuring, Angus Steak House, Dharma Blue, Five Sisters Blues Café, Fisherman’s Corner, Jerry’s Cajun, Landry’s Seafood, Sons of Italy Buona Fortuna Lodge, The Fish House, The Oar House and Nancy’s Haute Affairs. You can sample smaller portions of signature dishes from these restaurants for around $5.00-$7.00.
The Fiesta Seafood Grille is another popular attraction, where local chefs will share their secrets to creating restaurant-quality seafood dishes. Songwriters from the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival will be performing acoustic tunes on the Fiesta Seafood Grille stage between demonstrations.
Entertainment will kick off in Bartram Park, featuring live music beginning at 3:30 pm on Friday, September 28. Click here for featured performers. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets.
The Pensacola Seafood Festival’s Don McCloskey 5K Run/Walk sponsored by the Pensacola Runners Association and Fiesta of Five Flags will kick off the fall racing season in Pensacola and is a popular event at the Pensacola Seafood Festival. The run will start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Seville Quarter, 130 East Government Street. The route will take walkers/runners through historic downtown Pensacola, through the new Vince J. Whibbs, Sr. Community Maritime Park by the Pensacola Blue Wahoos stadium. Fun-filled children's activities will take place on Saturday and Sunday at Bartram Park. Children can experience hands-on crafts, including sand art and marble painting. Other scheduled activities include Bounce houses, a rock climbing wall and inflatable human hamster balls. Face painting will be offered in Bartram Park and Seville Square.
