Los Angeles, California is known to be a pretty superficial place, where models, reality TV wannabes, and actresses have unbelievable pressure to maintain a certain look. Think perfect hair, perfect skin, and at least according to Hollywood standards, a "perfect" body.
It's difficult to imagine the pressure to maintain this unattainable level of beauty, isn't it? Even worse is how it affects the masses, us non-celebrities. We see airbrushed versions of these women on cover after magazine cover, watch them take over our television sets, and hear countless news stories about every aspect of a celebrity's life, so it can be rather difficult to not let such an unattainable, unrealistic beauty standard affect us.
The beautiful women in this list each have very different body types but have one major thing in common: gorgeous, curvy, and unapologetic figures. Each of these women has dealt with unrelenting criticism and speculation about their bodies but not a one has succumbed to the pressure to be a stick thin Hollywood cutout, so we applaud them.
