The 2014 MTV Movie Awards hosted by Conan O'Brien

April 13th at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater, Conan O’Brien will host the MTV Movie awards. Like the Oscars, but with more twerking, MTV loves to celebrate the best in film with categories like “Best Scared as S--T Performance” and “Best Shirtless Performance.” Many of the Oscar favorites like American Hustle, 12 Years a Slave, Amy Adams, and The Wolf of Wall Street are nominated alongside 2013’s best like We’re the Millers and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Maybe Leo will have a shot to get some love from MTV, since The Academy snubbed him. MTV brings a great extended close to awards season. Then again, we always have Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards and FOX’s Teen Choice Awards to hold us over until next year!

Here are the nominees for the MTV Movie Awards. Who gets your vote? If the Backstreet Boys don’t win “Best Musical Moment” for This Is the End, we know this is a rigged awards show. Tell me your favorites in the comments below!
