The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee now at Colorado dealers

The locally popular Jeep Grand Cherokee saw its fourth generation during 2013 and the remarkable 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee won the Rocky Mountain Automotive Press SUV of the Year Award, during the 2012 Denver Auto Show.

This week Denver and Colorado Jeep Dealers got their first examples of the 2014 model by gathering in Copper Mountain to drive away the first 50 in the state.

The new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee builds upon its telematics and technology, while adding an 8-speed transmission and an optional Eco-Diesel engine getting up to 30-mpg, enabling an impressive 720-mile range on a single tank.

The Cooper Mountain drive-away signaled the beginning of local sales for the much anticipated 2014 model.

So if you’ve been waiting to get a closer look at this automotive answer to Colorado weather, the time has arrived.

Based on what’s heading our way tonight, you might want to make an appointment with your Jeep dealer tomorrow.

Then you’ll be in good shape to get through whatever lies between Colorado drivers and the Jeep Grand Cherokee’s joys of summer.
