The National Film Challenge announces its 11th National Film Challenge Competition to be held Nov. 1-4, 2013, and invites teams from around the world to participate. This years competition will be co-partnered with GoPro, and additional prizes and perks are available.
National Film Challenge states, "The National Film Challenge (NFC) is a fast paced, timed filmmaking competition that challenges teams of filmmakers from all over the world to write, shoot, edit and submit a complete film in just 3 days!
The Early Bird Registration has been extended to October 11th to coincide with the eligibility deadline for the GoPro loaner camera drawing!" This random drawing from the list of registered teams will provide 25 loaner cameras to the lucky 25 teams."
According to event representatives, "The winning film will receive a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. In addition, there will be more than 20 awards and the winner of Best Film will receive $3,000 USD and the Audience Award Winner will receive $1,000 USD. And both films will screen at the 48HFP Filmapalooza in 2014. For rules and registration go to National Film Challenge."
