The 2013 Billboard Latin Music Award nominees were announced today at the Gibson Showroom in Miami, Fla. with special guests America Sierra, Chino y Nacho, Gerardo Ortiz, Horacio Palencia, Jencarlos Canela and Victor Manuelle. The Latin Billboard Music Conference and Awards will be celebrating 15 years with a weeklong of events in Coral Gables starting April 22 and ending with the awards show presentation Thursday, April 25.
This year the most nominations were for once again Puerto Rico's Don Omar with 18 nominations followed by 12 nominations for the 'king of bachata' Romeo Santos, legendary diva Jenni Rivera and Wisin y Yandel are tied with 11 nominations each, 10 for Prince Royce followed by Pitbull with nine nominations.
In the Female Artist of The Year category, Leslie Grace is the only new female artist nominated. She immediately gained popularity after her first superb performance as per say the new ‘kid on the block’ singing her unique rendition of ‘Will U Still Love Me Tomorrow’ at a Latin music awards show. Vying for Artist of the year are Don Omar, Romeo, Prince Royce and Jenni Rivera.
Many others have been nominated in the 67 categories.
