The 2013-2014 U.S. Open Cup of Arena Soccer continues this weekend

This weekend begins another round of games in the 2013-2014 U.S. Open Cup for Arena Soccer. The action kicks off this Friday in the Western bracket when the Las Vegas Legends (PASL) take on the Las Vegas Knights (who are the defending 2013 PASL-Premier Summer League champions). Saturday night the Ontario Fury will face the San Diego Sockers and the winners will face each other in the quarterfinals. The Bay Area Rosal will host the Sacramento Surge for a spot in the quarterfinals. Sunday's action will feature the Dallas Sidekicks taking on the Hildago La Fiera for a spot in the quarterfinals.

In the Eastern brackets, Saturday's games will have the Cleveland Freeze of the Professional League will face-off against the Premier League's Harrisburg Heat. The winner will earn a spot in the Eastern finals. The Wichita B-52s (PASL) will take on the Denver Dynamite (Premier) for a spot in the Round of Sixteen The final spot in the Round of sixteen is has yet to be seeded. The Tulsa Tea Men (Independent) are awaiting the winner of the Tulsa Revolution (PASL) Vs. B-H United (Independent) match (which has yet to be rescheduled).

The U.S. Open Cup for Arena Soccer is a tournament that is open for all indoor soccer teams (amateur, independent, professional) and has been competed for since 2008.
