On January 28 and 29, the Luna New Year Festival will be celebrating the Year of the Dragon in Los Angeles Chinatown.  The festival and parade will be held at 943-945 N. Broadway, Los Angeles, 90012.  The festival starts off with the 113th Annual Golden Dragon Parade on Saturday, January 28 at 1 p.m.  There will be lots of fun activities for all ages to enjoy.  After the parade, the fun continues with live music, cultural performances by some of the nation's best chinese acts, cultural and art workshops for the kids, and plenty of gourmet food trucks and nearby restaurants.  The Food Networks show, "Cupcakes Wars" will be there with Chinese theme cupcakes for the attendees to enjoy.  Hopefully, there will be plenty of yummy "moon cakes"!
