The American Junior Paint Horse Association Youth World Champion Show starts June 24th at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center and continues through July 2nd. Come watch the top youth from around the world compete for World Champion titles. The show kicks off at noon on June 24th with the Team Tournament in which State and National teams compete in several categories for the World Champion title. In the days preceding Individual titles are up for grabs in Western, English, Halter, Speed and Cattle classes.
Several special events, classes and exhibits are also scheduled including Youth Judging Contest, Therapeutic Riding, AjPHA National Convention, Championship Dog Races, Lonestar Cowgirls and for some great shopping be sure to visit Colors of the West Gift Show. There is also Paint For a Day, an open show available to all breeds on June 25.
Events are in an enclosed air conditioned buildings, it can actually get cold so bring a lightweight jacket. There is a $5 parking fee, but no charge to watch the events.
