Tristan from "Our Busy Homeschool" is my heroine.  I've been searching for an odd sized white board to fit in our kitchen for months and have come up bare.  Tristan shares her idea on how to custom make inexpensive dry erase boards.  You don't even have to be a handyman to make one.

The Hayes Family in South Africa spent  a day where they and their co-op dressed, ate, worked and played like Ancient Egyptians!  The look for joy on those children's faces must have made all the moms' hard work worthwhile.

I love crafty activities that reinforce what our children are learning.   Lydia taught her students how to make magic carpets in her "1001 Arabian Nights" book club.  The children had a great time learning about Persian rug making while they kept their hands busy making their own magic carpets.

 Homegrown Mommy  shows us just how easy it is to homeschool on a budget.
