The 16th President battles the undead in 'Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter'

You can kill some of the vamps all of the time and you can kill all of the vamps some of the time, but this June, our 16th President Abraham Lincoln is attempting to kill all of the vamps all of the time. Based on the novel of the same name, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter explores the secret history of our former Commander-in-Chief and his quest to destroy all bloodsuckers.

Monroe residents can catch 'Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter' at Cinemark Cinema 10, located in the Pecanland Mall at 4700 Millhaven Rd. in Monroe, or at Cinemark Tinseltown, 220 Blanchard St. in West Monroe.

As a boy Lincoln finds out that his mother died not from milk sickness, as he’d been told, but at the hands of the undead. Seeking revenge Lincoln devotes himself to a lifelong pursuit of vampires. And no, Honest Abe hasn’t shirked his responsibilities as the leader of the free world in this alternate history. The story works under the premise that President Lincoln served as a vamp hunter covertly, while simultaneously serving as president of the U.S.
