The 113th Congress of the House of Representatives have been sworn in and seated. This new congress has no responsibility to the old 112th Congress. This is the peoples House that pays the bills of the federal government. All funding is generated and controlled by the House of Representatives.
Given the current climate of steep debt, there are not enough taxes (revenue) to pay for the trillions in debt. The past congress (112th) allowed approximately 4 trillion dollars more to be added to the debt of the federal government.
Our nation has spun out of control on its spending spree and this new congress has the power and opportunity to stop the red ink from flowing. Strip out and scale back the money (obligation) that has been approved by previous congresses.
Since there is no money to pay for all of the massive entitlement programs and the bloated government bureaucracy congress can stop this out of control executive order signing, and unconstitutional driven president, along with the road blocking democratically controlled senate.
The country is almost lost now by the vote buying socialists and communists in congress and the presidency. The only save for our nation now is for the new House of Representatives to withhold the funding and scale back all the bloated programs and job killing agencies that are killing the economy and our freedoms. To name a few:
- Entitlements
- Environmental Protection Agency
- Department of Energy
- Patient Protection and Affordable Control Act (PPACA)
- Presidential Czars
- Bloated and unnecessary governmental agencies
This congress holds the power of the purse and if they do not stop the mandated funding our country will collapse from the weight of these obligations. We are on a reckless course, speeding to destruction towards a brick wall.
The end of the 112th Congress is now a footnote, a dismal failure for America. The debt that the democrats (socialist/communist) have levied on this nation is beyond the imagination of mankind. Trillions of debt already added over the past 4 years by a socialist president, socialist controlled senate and a complicit House of Representatives.
The Speaker for the 113th congress indicated time and time again that we have a spending problem not a revenue problem. However, he has been culpable in obligating money we do not have. Is the Speaker really serious about reining in spending or just worried about the next election cycle; looking out for his own skin? Is the Speaker afraid to lead the House in the right direction? Maybe, he is actually a socialist hiding behind a mask of deception.
As 20 states have shown by banding together and blocking PPACA, so too can the House of Representatives stop the gushing massive bleed of monetary obligations and resuscitate an ailing economy. The people can’t pay these massive bills and it is folly to think otherwise. The States and the House are the keys to stopping the socialists and communists from changing the face of America and ushering in the evil and pain they bring.
