On Friday, March 7, hundreds gathered at the Seawell Grand Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts for the Art Directors Club of Denver's 10th annual Paper Fashion Show. Guests were treated to a stunning, artistic display of haute couture with over 40 design teams creating looks made of various paper products. Designers ranged in age from as young as 9 years old to professional adults, and looks ran the gamut from those suited to a night on the town to full on concept pieces.

A panel of judges consisting of Brandi Shigley of Fashion Denver, Craig Hanson of American Crew, Justice Kwesi Kwarteng of JTA Group, Amanda Brady of Geneologie, and Shanna McNear of The Integer Group scored and ranked each of the 42 looks, choosing winners in five judging categories. The top honor of the night went to A-Bomb by the Pink Shag Design Team.

This show celebrates the creativity and talent of Denver artists, stimulating outside-the-box thinking with regard to fashion. Entrants ranged from student designers to architectural and interior designers to professional clothing designers. Each brought their own blend of form and function to their looks, presenting a visually stunning and highly entertaining show. A portion of the proceeds benefited Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, a program which provides after school arts programs to at-risk youth.
