The 10th annual Maine Fiber Frolic

On June 5 & 6, 2010 from 9am to 4 pm the 10th Annual Maine Fiber Frolic will take place at the Windsor Fairgrounds in Windsor Maine.  Recognizing that fiber is an important agricultural product, the Maine Fiber Frolic was recently approved by the Maine Department of Agriculture as an official agricultural fair. 

According to their Facebook page  the Maine Fiber Frolic is "THE annual gathering in Maine of Fiber People, Artists, Vendors, Shepherds (sheep people), Goat Herders (Goat People), Llama People AND, Alpaca People."  Visitors to the fair can enjoy workshops, a fleece show and sale (sheep, alpaca, llama, bunny and goat), a used equipment market place, a kids' area, and demonstrations.  Vendors from all over the northeast will be there.
